More than $1.5 Million Donated Over the Past Decade
Summit County, Colo. (July 12, 2019) – In part to its ongoing commitment to bettering the communities it calls home, the Slifer Smith & Frampton Foundation recently donated $10,000 to 15 local charities throughout Summit County.
The money was raised from the first-ever SSF Foundation Community Fundraiser, which was held on Saturday, June 15, at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco. Donning their best 80s attire, more than 350 people attended the event, which included a silent auction, craft cocktails by Breckenridge Distillery and entertainment by the high energy premier party 80s band, the Six Million Dollar Band. The SSF Foundation had many community partners help cover event costs, which enabled all ticket sale proceeds go directly to the 15 local charities, including: Land Title Guarantee Company, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Alpine Bank, Summit Mountain Rentals, and the Town of Frisco.
“A vital part of calling Summit County 'home' is helping out those throughout our beautiful mountain communities who are in need,” said John Pfeiffer, president and employing broker of SSF. “We are proud to support a broad range of nonprofit organizations that directly benefit our local community and make our mountain towns the very best place to live.” Over the past decade, more than $1.5 Million has been donated throughout Summit and Eagle Counties to organizations that enrich the community and foster education, youth, arts, athletics, and environmental stewardship.
